In his remarks, Minister Lecce discusses the province’s school reopening plan for September and the health and safety measures that will be in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease). Logan Kanapathi, the MPP for Markham—Thornhill; Dr. Kieran Moore, Ontario’s chief medical officer of health; Karim Kurji, York Region’s medical officer of health; and Domenic Scuglia, the York Catholic District School Board’s director of education, also take part in the news conference.
